This edging uses the same stitch used to do the classic pattern Solomon’s knot. It is a long chain, drawn up to whatever length is needed for the pattern, then a single crochet is worked back into this long chain by inserting the hook under the one strand that seems to lie apart from the other two. With green: Work bumps along edge: (join to edge with sc, ch 3) repeat around scarf. Now work ‘peaks’: join to bump with sc, *1 sk using picture as guide, now into (more…)
