Today I’m sharing a nice oya with you again. It’s crocheted by my lovely mum. I and my husband took our camera and visited my mum and she shared all her patterns willingly. Mums are always great-hearted towards their children, aren’t they? ![]()

This is a pretty oya lace from my dowery. Green, white, yellow and purple threads are used. Additionally a white thick thread is used for the base of this oya. It was joyful to crochet it but ironing part was so boring. We use a wet fine and lathered fabric (usually an old white colored scarf) for ironing between iron and oya lace . The soup keeps oya even for a long time. But ofcourse when it is washed, it loses this feature. You have to iron it in the same way if you want to have the former appearance.
