A famous towel pattern in Turkey. Many girls have this pattern in their hope chest. We Turkish women crochet many towel edges before we marry and after marrying we give them as gifts to our husbands’ relatives in special crochet or fabric bundles. (I will post some samples for these special bundles in the following days.) We keep some of them for ourselves to use at home as well.

I absolutely love your designs! I adore this basket design too…are you sharing your patterns? I am leaving you my email address, in hopes that you will get in touch. I would love to get the pattern for this basket and maybe a few more that you have here. I admire your craft. It must take alot of dedication and patience. People do not know how much is put into something like this.. To take a ball of thread and turn it into a work of beauty like this and others, takes alot of precision. I am only a beginner, and its very hard for me,for some reason to get it right. But I love your works of art.
